Nancy Zidonis, is a pioneer in the field of animal acupressure. She wrote the first equine and canine acupressure handbooks. Nancy, along with Amy Snow, is the founding partner of Tallgrass Publishers and Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute.
Nancy began her work in animal acupressure over 35 years ago. She has studied and worked extensively in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine for animals and veterinary homeopathy. She is the co-author of 8 acupressure books, including Acu-Dog: A Guide to Canine Acupressure, Acu-Horse: A Guide to Equine Acupressure, and Acu-Cat: A Guide to Feline Acupressure. Ms Zidonis is also the co-author of four DVDs, meridian charts, and canine and equine acupressure Apps along with numerous articles for publications. In conjunction with Hocking College, Tallgrass developed the premier online Animal Acupressure Program. She studied at the International Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Colorado, USA. Nancy also holds a diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy Veterinarian Diploma. Nancy is also a founding member of the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage, and served on its initial board.
Has been in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1976 and has worked with dogs and horses since childhood. She studied at the International Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Colorado, USA.
Amy integrated her love of animals with Chinese Medicine and other eastern bodywork modalities 22 years ago when she joined Nancy Zidonis with whom she co-authored 8 animal acupressure texts including Acu-Dog: A Guide to Canine Acupressure, Acu-Horse: A Guide to Equine Acupressure, and Acu-Cat: A Guide to Feline Acupressure. Additionally, she contributes articles to publications in the US, Canada, Australia, and England. Amy is a founder of the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage and served on its initial board.
